Refund Policy

How and when refunds apply. Last updated 8 May 2026.

When refunds apply

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • The vet did not join the consult within 15 minutes of the booked time.
  • The consult was cut short due to platform technical issues (audio, video, connection).
  • The vet failed to deliver a signed consult report within 24 hours.
  • You were charged for a service you did not receive.

When refunds do not apply

  • You missed your scheduled consult without 30-minute prior notice.
  • Connection issues on your end (poor internet, low battery, browser issues).
  • Disagreement with the vet's professional opinion (you can leave a review or request a second opinion).
  • You did not follow the vet's prescribed treatment.

How to request a refund

Email refunds@zoethehappiness.com within 7 days of the consult with: your consult ID (e.g. C-2901), reason for refund, and any supporting evidence (screenshot, recording).

Processing time

We review and respond within 48 hours. Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days back to your original payment method. Razorpay and Stripe both support full refund-to-source.

Disputes

If we cannot reach an agreement, you may escalate to your card issuer or to the relevant consumer protection authority in your jurisdiction.
