Question 1

What is Dr. Aiva and how does the AI vet triage work?

Accepted Answer

Dr. Aiva is an AI-powered veterinary triage platform, with licensed vets who check reports on request. The AI asks species-specific multi-choice questions about your pet's symptoms, then generates a structured report with differential diagnoses, urgency level (Red, Yellow, or Green), and recommended next steps. Triage typically completes in under 60 seconds. The triage is free.

Question 2

Is the AI pet symptom checker a substitute for a real veterinarian?

Accepted Answer

No. Dr. Aiva is an educational triage tool. It is not a licensed veterinarian and does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace in-person veterinary care. For emergencies or any pet in distress, contact a licensed vet or emergency clinic immediately. To have a licensed vet check any Aiva report, tap Get a vet to check this on your report: ₹99 in India, $1 elsewhere, answered within 24 hours.

Question 3

How do I create a free AIVA-ID digital pet passport?

Accepted Answer

Sign up for a free Dr. Aiva account, add your pet's name, species, breed, and date of birth, and the system automatically generates a unique AIVA-ID. Upload vaccination records, prior consult notes, and care reminders. The passport links to your pet for life and is shareable with any vet.

Question 4

Are the AI veterinary tools and SOAP note generator really free for vets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Licensed veterinarians get free access to AI consultation tools, including auto-generated SOAP notes, triage summarization, and pre-consult briefings. Vets earn a fixed fee for every vet check they sign: ₹60 per case in India, $0.60 elsewhere, paid out weekly.

Question 5

Which animals and pets does Dr. Aiva support?

Accepted Answer

Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, and small exotic mammals at launch. Large animal and equine support is on the roadmap.
