Privacy Policy

When you use Dr. Aiva, we collect:

• Account information: Your name, email, phone, country, city, and password (encrypted).
• Pet records: Your pet's name, species, breed, age, sex, weight, vaccination history, and medical notes.
• Triage and consult data: Symptoms you describe, photos and PDFs you upload, AI-generated assessments, and vet-signed reports.
• Payment information: Processed securely by Razorpay, Stripe, or other PCI-compliant partners. We do not store card details.
• Usage data: Device type, browser, IP address, and how you interact with the app, used to improve quality and detect fraud.

• To run AI triage and generate medical reports for your pet.
• To match you with licensed veterinarians who can read your case history.
• To send care reminders for vaccinations, deworming, dental, and other species or breed-specific protocols.
• To process payments and pay vets their share of the consult fee.
• To improve Dr. Aiva using anonymized data only. We never train AI models on your private pet records without explicit consent.

We share data only with:

• Licensed veterinarians you choose to consult, only for that consult.
• Payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe, Paddle) to process transactions.
• Cloud infrastructure (Supabase, Cloudflare) under strict data processing agreements.
• AI providers (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) for triage analysis, with no training rights on your data.

We never sell your data to anyone. Ever.

• Access all data we hold about you.
• Correct any inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and all associated data within 90 days.
• Export your pet records in standard formats (PDF, JSON).
• Withdraw consent for any processing at any time.

We retain your data while your account is active. After deletion, backups are kept for 90 days then permanently erased. Pet medical records are retained for 7 years for legal and continuity-of-care reasons, unless earlier deletion is specifically requested.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We follow SOC 2 Type II controls and undergo annual security audits.

Dr. Aiva is operated by Zoe The Happiness, headquartered in India. Your data may be processed in India, the EU, and the US under standard contractual clauses. We comply with India's DPDP Act 2023, EU GDPR, UK DPA 2018, and California CCPA.

Dr. Aiva is not intended for users under 18. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to use the service on your behalf.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified by email and shown in-app at least 30 days in advance.
